OCTOBER’S horoscope will be affected by Venus in stationary retrograde, the New Moon and Mercury in Venus conjunct – but how will this affect your zodiac reading?
Venus in retrograde on Friday, October 5, is a major highlight of this month’s forecast, promising up to six weeks of increased passions.
When in stationary retrograde, passions will flare and stronger emotions might even turn to anger, impulsiveness and a lack of self-control.
After that, the birth of the New Moon on October 8 could help relax some of those stronger emotions.
“Expect to feel more sensitive, sympathetic and comforting towards your loved ones.
“This New Moon brings attention to the rights and conditions of women in traditional families, single women, working women and single parents.
“The October 2018 New Moon square Pluto adds drama and intensity. A health or relationship crisis may force a radical transformation.”
You might have to brace yourself for a period of ruthlessness if it means “eliminating poison from your life”.

This could be a good time to start a new diet, exercise or some form of detoxification routine.
If you are a Libra, the first four days of October promise to be beautiful and full of friendly energy between yourself and your close ones.
Astrologer Gregory Scott said you will be having fun and you might even see the stirrings of some new romantic adventures – but this will not last.
He said: “On October 5, I’ve got bad news for you, I’m sorry. Your ruler Venus, the planet of love, and beauty, and creativity and the source of your charm and beauty really, goes retrograde and it goes retrograde until November 16.
“When Venus goes retrograde, it is not a good time to enter a new relationship or to start a new business, especially one you absolutely love and adore, because Venus twists everything and the new people you meet during Venus retrograde will seem to be perfect and will promise to deliver everything, and then, in reality, all you’re left with is heartbreak.”

Jamie Partridge, AstrologyKing.com
When the Full Moon peaks on the night of October 24, with Venus opposite Uranus, the Moon will focus on change and excitement.
Mr Partridge believes you should expect excitement and uncertainty in your love life but also your finances.
He said: “The October 2018 Full Moon makes a more helpful aspect to Saturn which moderates the erratic and impulsive nature of Uranus.
“It turns unexpected changes into opportunities and relationship uncertainty into reassurances and commitments.
“The fixed stars joining the Full Moon also bring a mix of problems and solutions.”
Uranus might show you “unexpected love” this month, but it will also point out your vulnerabilities in your love life and finances.
The astrology expert added Saturn might show some practical solutions on the other, which might lead to more security and stability.
